The Embassy of the United States is a diplomatic mission of the government of the United States in Colombia, it promotes the relations between both countries and, through the Consular Section, it allows Colombian citizens to travel to the United States.
To fulfill its mission, the embassy has different sections: Commercial, Political, Culture and Press, Consular, Narcotic Issues, Military Group, DEA and Security, Immigration and Customs. Each one of them works both fulfilling the objectives of its mission and supporting the understanding and exchange between both countries.
Colombia and the United States have a long history of cooperation and this embassy works to keep those ties.
