The Embassy in Bogota
The Embassy’s American Citizen Services office is located at Calle 24 Bis No. 48-50 in Bogotá, Colombia. Calle 24 Bis is a small street near the intersection of Carrera 50 and Avenida Esperanza, with Calle 26 as another major nearby road. Look for the American Citizen Services sign at the gate. The entrance is on the opposite side of the Embassy compound from the entrance for visa applicants.
Hours for in-person services at the Embassy are as follows:
Passport services, notary services, and general inquiries:
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Thursday

The U.S. Consular Agency in Barranquilla
If you are on Colombia’s north coast, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of routine consular services offered at the U.S. Consular Agency in Barranquilla, open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for all citizen services.
