Request for Proposals number SCO150-12-R-N008

Enclosed is a Request for Proposals (RFP) for thirty-two (32) 40-foot containers.  If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it by email to storysw@state.gov or to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Quotations are due by May 11, 2012 at 2:00pm.

Based on some questions from interested vendors, please find the answers as follows (spanish):

• Los contenedores incluyen el descargue? No, el proveedor debe suministrar el equipo necesario para el descargue en el sitio.
• Cuál será la ubicación de los contenedores al momento del descargue? Los contenedores deben ser organizados en línea, uno al lado del otro.
• Cómo es la forma de pago? La política de pago de la Embajada es a 30 días, después de recibir los elementos y radicar la factura.
