You may call from any touch-tone telephone. When calling from outside of Bogotá, the telephone line must have 01-8000 calling capability.
How can I change my appointment date?
If you need to reschedule your appointment, you must call the Visa Information Center again.
What should I do if I cannot make it to my appointment?
If you cannot be present for your appointment, you must request another appointment through the Visa Information Center.
May I call the Visa Information Center more than once with the same PIN?
Yes. You may call as many times as you like until all of the minutes (15 or 20, depending on which type of PIN you purchased) are used up.
May I call the Visa Information Center more than once if I am calling from the United States?
No. The charge if you are calling from the United States is US$16 per call; however, there is no time limit on how long the call can last.
May I still call the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit directly for visa information?
No. Please use the Visa Information Center for all telephone inquiries.
May I ask the Visa Information Center about a visa refusal?
