Embassy Bogota Organizes “United States Week” at Top Colombian University
Several events celebrated U.S. week at Los Andes University, April 24 to 28, including a lecture by Rand Corporation terrorism expert Bruce Hoffman on "Beyond al Qaeda: Terrorism in the New Strategic Environment"; a session on student visas presented by a consular officer; a teleconference with two representatives from LASPAU on study in the U.S.; a lecture on U.S. history; two exhibits, and a concert of U.S. music by 25 young musicians from an organization which helps underprivileged children.
