The U.S. Consular Agency in Barranquilla
If you are a U.S. citizen located on Colombia’s north coast, we encourage you to visit the U.S. Consular Agency in Barranquilla for many routine citizen services. The Consular Agency is located at Calle 77B No. 57-141, suite 511. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday except holidays. No appointment is necessary.
The Consular Agency accepts passport applications, provides notary services, documents children born to U.S. citizens in Colombia, and answers general inquiries. The Consular Agency also provides emergency assistance to U.S. citizens on the north coast. Please see the links to the left for information about specific services, including hours and fees.
